FAQs on our posters

Will my poster be framed?

No, your poster will not be framed. Our poster sizes are designed to fit in standard Ikea frames.

What is the size of the print?

For posters and "fine art prints", we offer 30cm by 40cm as well as 50cm by 70cm. Available sizes are clearly indicated on the website for each item.

What is the best way to contact you?

The best way is via private message on our Facebook page or via the contact form on this website.

Do you ship outside of Singapore?

Yes, we do. For a flat rate of SGD 20 we ship to all major countries with Singpost. Please contact us directly with any special requests. 

Do I have to pay shipping only once for an order of multiple prints?

Generally, you only pay one shipping fee. However, in cases where we have to package prints in multiple tubes, we will reach out to you for a custom shipping quote. 

How long do I have to wait until my poster gets delivered?

Delivery usually takes 5 - 10 working days. After you place your order, we will get back to you within 24 hours to inform you about when you can expect your print.

Where is my poster printed?

Our posters are printed by our printing partner in Singapore.

Do you have different paper types for the posters?

Yes, where we indicate "Poster" we print on 230gsm satin photographic archival non-fade paper. This is the best kind of quality in the market.

Where we indicate "Fine Art Print" we print on thick textured paper that feels like watercolor paper. The paper gives our prints an artistic look. The paper used carries UK Fine Art Trade Guild Certification and is considered museum quality. Fine art paper is very different from standard paper. Normal paper is made by crushing timber into pulp, then refining it to create paper. Fine art paper is made 100% from cotton rag. This is high grade cotton which has been rolled into an extremely high quality printing paper.

What is a personalised canvas print?

For our personalised canvases, we focus on a typographic style that is inspired by "Busrolls". Before buses and trams had electronic displays, they used rolls of a type of cloth on which the destinations were printed and rolled to display as the bus drove along its route. Vintage-enthusiasts and clever interior designers discovered these rolls at antique markets and realised that when displayed on a wall, such rolls make for a unique decorative item. With our personalized busrolls, you define the "destinations" you want displayed. Many of our customers capture the places where they lived or their favourite vacation spots. They pick places, names, dates and other words that are meaningful to them. Once you, your family and / or friends have defined what goes on the Busroll, we design and produce your personalised canvas print. The print is produced with gallery grade-materials, stretched on a wooden frame with the best craftsmanship and comes ready to hang.

What is canvas printing?

Canvas printing or Giclee Printing is a process in which an image is printed on a piece of high-quality canvas and then stretched around a hardwood frame. Canvas Prints feature in art galleries across the world. The canvas used and the finishing applied are of the highest standard. Your canvas will be ready-to-hang. “Ready to hang” means that your canvas is equipped with a horizontal wire in the back. The canvas is sturdy, but it will be light enough to hang, so you don’t need to drill. We recommend using 3M sticky hangers that you can buy at most supermarkets.





What is the Order Process for personalised canvas designs?

Step 1: Contact form: Get in touch with us via our contact form (for personalized designs only). Do not make a purchase yet in our online store. Tell us in which print your are interested in. The more specifics the better. Also please let us know early if you are in a hurry or not.

Step 2: Email correspondence: We reach out to you within 24 hours by email to confirm your order and potentially to ask you a few more questions to make sure we design your print exactly the way you want it. We finalize together with you what goes onto your canvas and we agree the timing. 

Step 3: Advance payment: Depending on the volume of your order, we require that you make an advance payment of either SGD 100 or SGD 50. This is to confirm your order before we start working on your personalized design. You can make the advance payment by purchasing the advance payment item in our shop. 

Step 4: Design: We get busy designing your personalized print.

Step 5: Agreement on Proof: We send you a proof file by email to receive your OK before we print.

Step 6: Payment: We ask you to make the payment. Since you have already made an advance payment, we will email you a special discount code to apply to your order to deduct the advance payment from your bill.

Step 7: Printing: Your print is printed.

Step 8: Delivery: Your print is delivered to your doorstep.

How many words do you need to make a busroll print look good?

We often get questions on how many words, dates, etc. would be considered too few or too many to get a good looking design. There is no clear answer to this question. It depends. The important thing is that you think about what you want on the artwork.

How do you confirm my personalised order and the desired timeframe for delivery?

After we receive your instructions, we confirm and clarify if needed to make sure we can start designing what you want. We will also confirm the timeframe for the design and printing of your piece.

How do you design my personalised print?

We design your piece with professional software in high resolution for future reproduction.

Can I receive a proof file of my design in advance?

Of course! Once we are happy with your design, we send you a lower resolution file of your piece by email.

How long does it take to get your personalised print?

Every order is different. Turnaround time depends on what your needs are. It also depends on the number of designs that we are working at any given time. We will let you know as soon as possible what you can expect in terms of turnaround time. Printing and delivery will take about 3-5 days.

How and when do I pay for a personalised canvas?

It depends on the print you order. For the larger orders, we require partial advance payment of either SGD 100 or SGD 50. Then before we print, we require that you make the rest of the payment. 

Do you deliver?

Yes. Once your piece is printed, a courier will deliver the print to your doorstep within Singapore.

Do you ship personalised canvas prints internationally?

Sorry, only posters and fine art prints can be shipped internationally.

Will my personalised canvas print be framed?

Our canvas prints are "ready to hang" stretched over a wooden frame with a horizontal wire to hang. Please see pictures above.

What can I do if my print arrives damaged?

If your print arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

What if I change my mind and want to return my print?

Please understand that once payment is made, we don't accept returns.
